How RentScope Works

A seamless five-step flow that turns annual rent into a monthly habit.

  1. Tenant AppliesA tenant finds a home on RentScope and submits a verified profile linked to their employer.

RentScope Advanced is designed for salaried professionals. Access requires employer verification and Ghana Card biometric verification.

  2. Employer ConfirmsThe employer confirms employment and opts into monthly payroll deductions on behalf of the tenant.

Employer verification links the tenant’s application to their employment. Monthly rent payments align with how the tenant earns their salary.

  3. Bank AdvancesOur banking partner advances the first six-month block directly to the landlord.

RentScope pays the first six months today. In Month 7, RentScope pays the next six-month block to the landlord.

  4. Insurer CoversIf involuntary job loss is confirmed, insurance pays the bank for up to three months.

If no salary is detected on payday, RentScope confirms employment status with the employer. Confirmed involuntary job loss then triggers an automated insurance payout to the bank for up to three months.

  5. Everyone WinsTenant pays monthly, landlord receives rent in six-month blocks, and the Trust infrastructure holds it all together.

The tenant’s rent follows their monthly salary, while the landlord receives payments in two six-month tranches: the first today and the next in Month 7.

Before RentScope I had to borrow from three different people just to pay rent. Now it comes out of my salary. I barely notice it.
